Meth Addiction

Meth addiction usually occurs after a person tries it for the first time.  Meth is a stimulant to the central nervous system.  Meth has other names such as crystal meth, speed and ice.  Meth addicted users have to keep going up on their doses to try to get the feeling from their first time high.  These addicts feel a great high but they also get  to a low where they feel depressed and they have no energy.

Meth addiction can be a cheap high because it is so cheap to manufacture.  Addicts can use meth in different forms such as:  snorted, smoked, injected or swallowed.  Meth addiction has warning signs that can be detected like weight loss, skin problems (severe acne), decaying teeth, missing teeth, hair loss and their skin feeling like it is crawling.  Meth addiction causes a person to feel paranoid like someone is following or chasing them, and it also causes bad judgement like unprotected sex or sharing needles which could cause sexually transmitted diseases. Meth addiction is one of the hardest addictions to treat, but there are rehabilitation centers that have trained people that can help with meth addiction.
